Last year was really the year of beautiful unique baby names. We are big fans of unique baby names, because our 'youngest' also got a unique baby name; Rafa van Maaike & Tido van Femke. Short baby names remain a favorite, they had an average of 4 letters, we don't often see more than 6 anymore.

We ourselves call a baby name unique when it is almost non-existent or very rare. Usually these are self-invented or they are a distortion of an existing name such as; Bodi becomes Odi.
